Deanna Camissotto recalls her time at St Mary's as being a major confidence booster and a great school that encouraged her educational and social achievements. On the first day of year 8 she was very anxious, as she didn't know anyone there. As time went along, she gained a very special group of friends, which are still some of her closest friends today.
Overall Deanna really enjoyed her time being at St Mary's College and it has now left her with lifelong friends and a career that she will forever enjoy. |
Stephanie James has a deep connection with St Mary's College. Her grandmother attended St Mary's College as a boarder prior to Cabra opening their boarding school in 1886. Stephanie commenced teaching as a relief teacher, "and just didn't leave." Whilst teaching at the school her two daughters also attended the Junior School. |
